This $20 Fix Made My Bathroom Feel Brand New!

Laugh at me if you want for this post but I am going to share it none-the-less. I was just picking up a few odds and ends at Walmart today when I passed by toilet lids... Now in an effort to get my house ready for some guests, I have been on the look out for some simple ways to make the house shine.

The idea popped into my head that I should replace my toilet lid in the powder room bathroom, you know the bathroom on the main level everyone uses and sees. I was a little nervous about the idea because I have never done that before nor do I just want to get myself in a crunch for time or throw money away if it was a total flop but I decided why not? How hard can it be? If you guys have been following me, you know I have done crazier house fix up things. So I thought to myself, it's not a big deal, I will just read the directions and try it.

WARNING: BELOW IS A PICTURE OF AN OLD TOILET SEAT- JUST SO IT DOESNT CATCH YOU OFF GAURD.

It turned out amazing friends and quick, too! It looks tons better and truly makes the bathroom feel new. My house is 20 years old. I have an inkling of a thought that, that toilet seat was also twenty years old.

Most Mom friends of mine would simply get their husband to do it. I guess I could do the same but he has a long list of things he wants to do and between being a Dad, a husband, and an individual I try not to make a list for him of my small wants. Plus, if I want it done in the time frame I want, I have learned to just do it myself. You too, can do the same. Just do it. Get inspired by a YouTube about how to do and then make the change. You've got this. 🙌

After, one more time! Woohoo!!
