This weekend Jason took care of the kids while I tackled this project. I was really inspired by a YouTube video I watched about decluttering and simplifying ones kitchen to feel as if it where a vacation rental. I love this. This is a good mindset because to have since really this simplified approach makes it easier to find things and easier to get to them without the other things in the way. I ended up getting rid of three boxes of things that we don't use, had too much of, or even some things I felt guilty about that we spent money on and yet weren't useful to our lifestyle. It felt great to donate these which I did that evening!!
